What we collect

If you join the new-songs list, we collect your email address and nothing else. This website does not use cookies or analytics, and it has no accounts or comment forms.

Why we collect it

Only to email you when new Songs of the Moors songs are released. We do not sell or share your address, and we do not use it for anything else. Our legal basis is your consent, which you give by signing up and confirming your address.

Who processes it

Your email address is stored and sent by our email provider, Buttondown (buttondown.com), on our behalf. We do not store email addresses on this website or on our own systems. Buttondown may process data outside the UK under its own privacy terms.

Confirming and unsubscribing

You will be sent a confirmation email first, and you are only added once you click the link in it. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time.

Keeping your data

We keep your address until you unsubscribe. After that it is removed or kept only as a suppression record so we do not email you again.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
